Talent Drive recently sat down with Emma Law MCIPS to discuss procurement apprenticeships and how they’re an enabler at enhancing new talent in procurement.
Emma has a decade of public sector procurement experience at the Environment Agency, and later shifted to local government in 2013, leading Children’s Services procurement at East Sussex County Council. She played a key role in reshaping procurement rules for the Council and later joined the senior leadership team of the Orbis Procurement partnership, overseeing Strategy and Resources. Currently heading various aspects within Orbis, including Strategy and the Data and Analytics Team, Emma is also the Chair of the Trailblazer group for the L6 Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Apprenticeship with SRSCC, set to launch in 2024.
