Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager (BDM)
Reports to: Head of Business Development
Location: Head Office, Euxton, Chorley / Hybrid/ Remote working are all possible
Job Purpose: Develop and grow business by increasing market share retention whilst developing business opportunities
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Type: Full-time
Mon-Thursday – 8am-5pm
Friday – 8.30am-3pm
Salary: from £30k
Established in 2007, SR Supply Chain Consultants (SRSCC) Ltd are a training provider who specialise in Procurement and Supply Chain. SRSCC have five study centre locations and two exam centres throughout England. SRSCC are a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) “Centre of Excellence” and are also a Main Provider on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (ROATP). Customers include private, public and third sector organisations across all industries.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Business Development Team; reporting to the Head of Business Development this individual will drive sales and create opportunities to grow the business. Working in a fast-paced organisation that is experiencing rapid growth this individual will be able to energetic and driven.
As a BDM, you will be responsible for:
- Working alongside all stakeholders to successfully retain and secure new business
- Seek tender opportunities and complete renewal bids
- Develop and/or maintain departmental policies
- Have knowledge of all departments and how they add value to winning business
- Attend customer visits, deliver customer presentation, and negotiate contracts
- Manage sales handover to operational departments
- Performance reporting to line manager
- Ensure compliance to policies, contracts, regulators
- Lead and contribute to business improvement
- Manage the recruitment of customers and learners
Essential Requirements – Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
- Educated to relevant Degree Level
- Intermediate level MS Office including Excel, Word
- Experience in sales/business development role
- MS Windows 365 inc Word and Excel
- Able to work to deadlines
- B2B experience
Desirable Requirements – Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
- Bid Writing in accordance with role requirements
- Experience working in Education and/or Training
The role requires you to hold a full UK driving license and have use of your own vehicle for business use. You must also be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if not already held.
